This is a rarely visited lost treasure Banteay Chhma which is located in the northeast of Cambodia just along the Thai Border and close to the former refugee camps of Cambodia during the civil war.

Banteay Chhma is the most interesting best known ruin of Cambodia. Built in the late 12 centuries, this ruin was dedicated to the king Jayavaraman's son who was told to have been a famous general of the Cambodian royal troops and he looters he was killed by the Cham armies who came from Champa city which is in the center of Vietnam today.

The temple of Banteay Chhma was also the largest religious site and school of Cambodia in Angkor Thom period.

Flight over Siem Reap – Preah Vihear – Koh Ker – Siem Reap- 1 hr 48 mins + ground: 4 hours
