The capital city of Siem Reap Province in northwestern Cambodia, and a popular resort town as the gateway to Angkor region. The town being a popular tourist destination—has a large number of hotels, resorts, restaurants and businesses closely related to tourism. This is much owed to its proximity to the Angkor temples, the most popular tourist attraction in Cambodia. 

You are amazed with it's colonial and Chinese-style architecture in the Old French Quarter, and around the Old Market.

It is home of museums, traditional Apsara dance performances, a Cambodian cultural village, souvenir and handycraft shops, silk farms, rice-paddies in the countryside, fishing villages, a bird sanctuary near the Tonle Sap Lake and famous ruins of Angkor.  Overnight in Siem Reap


After breakfast at the hotel, discover the fabulous jewel in the jungle Ta Prohm temple. Found in the late twelve century by the Buddhist king in the dedication to Buddha and memorial of his mother,was used as the Buddhist University, school of Art. The fabulous Ta prom gives an up scale value to foreign visitors as well as Cambodian citizens and especially the intellectuals. It is one of the most impressive temples in Angkor because of the overgrown trees with their entwined roots that make this ruin one of the most attractive in the orient. This awesome site was chosen to be filmed named Tomb Raider, performed by Angelina Jolie in 2000, just before she became a Good Will Ambassador of the United Nations to Cambodia.  From here take a short ride to your next discovery, the most extensive monument Angkor Wat. Unforgettable! The beautiful monument complex is ‘must see’ for any visitor to Cambodia. You will not be disappointed and our expert guides will explain you the history in details. 
The entire sandstone structure is exquisitely covered, and dominated by five gigantic peaks on the third level. They are pineapple shaped with lotus buds at the top. The total Angkor Wat experience is one of emotional appeal to the senses; one you will never forget!

After a short lunch break, your visit will be at large fortified Buddhist city Angkor Thom City. The huge capital of Angkor Thom was found in the late 12 century when the Cham fleets shacked the Angkor city. It is said that it was built by Jayavarman VII to serve a million of people and valuable materials which were used in Angkor. Surrounded by 8meters height solid wall, 25metters in width and 2,50miles long. Each entrance of the capital decorated with the guardians holding the Naga snake, the huge moat filled with crocodiles to guard the city. Every tower contained four gigantic smiling faces of the city founder and Buddha symbolizing the divines state of mind.  From here continue Bayon temple. Located in the heart of Angkor Thom city, the huge temple of Bayon consists of more than 200 carved stone faces looking out four directions and showing different expressions. The faces represent the emotional turmoil under the Cham attack. The carving faces depict the king’s expression and concern about his country politics, economies and education.

The rough smiling faces are full of sorrow and concern, and the gentle smiling faces show the promising future and peace of the founder in the ancient Khmer history.

Then resume your visit to an artificial Pyramid Hindu temple the Bapuon, this munument found junst before Angkor Wat temple symbolizing Mount Meru dedicated to Shiva god, a god of destroyer. Heading out to explore Royal encloure and former Poyal Palace from 9th to 15th century and visit your nearby Terrace of Elephants, Royal Stage for performances and foreign services meeting. And finally visit Terrace of Leper King, once was used as the Royal Crematorium.

Visiting at Phnom Bakheng late afternoon 

Phnom Bakheng has become most famous as a place to take stunning sunset photos. With spectacular views all around, including Angkor Wat and the town of Siem Reap, this is the place to view much of the surrounding area.

Phnom Bakheng is located in the Angkor group temples, about 1.3k north west of Angkor Wat, 400 meters south of Angkor Thom and about 6 kilometres north of the town of Siem Reap. Overnight in Siem Reap


After breakfast at the hotel, take an hour drive to excurse magnificent pink sandstone monument Banteay Srei following by Banteay Samre and villages on the way back. More than 20 miles north of Angkor complex, the Banteay Srei monument was not rediscoved until 1914. Now the site is pretty safe and under the concerning eyes of Switzerland government preservation. Banteay Srei was made of pink sandstone in the end of 10 century for the king mast “Kuru” and it was for the dedication to three gods, Shiva, Visnu and Brahma. It is said that the jewel of the Khmer arts as the architectural workmanship and cultural art had reached the richest its peak. It was built at the time of the Khmer was in the developent of science that make the ruin well known to the outside world.

Afternoon explore Tonle Sap Lake and Phnom Krom,

Tonle Sap is the largest permanent freshwater lake in Southeast Asia and is the main source of fishing and agriculture to people living on the surrounding plain and has played an important role

This famous floating village is now extremely popular with visitors wanting a break from the temples and is an easy enough excursion. It is very scenic in the warm light of early morning or late afternoon, but this location is most well known as a place to take photos of the sunset.
A boat trip on the Tonle Sap is a chance to encounter fishermen and their families who live on the water and whose homes form the floating village, Chong Knas.
Tonle Sap is the largest permanent freshwater lake in Southeast Asia and is the main source of fishing and agriculture to people living on the surrounding plain and has played an important role in Ankgor throughout history. The lake is connected to the Mekhong River via the Tonle Sap River at Phnom Penh.
The floating village may move 4 or 5 times in each direction during the year as the water level changes. During the rainy season, when the lake water level is high, the village can be founded near the ferry terminal, while in the dry season, the village will be located at the mouth of the canal at the edge of the main part of the lake.

After breakfast, begin your tour to visit a famous Buddhist university in 12th century Preah Khan temple, one of enormous monuments in Angkor, built in the late of Angkor. It was not only a Buddhist university, this ruin is former military base of the king when Chams invaded Angkor Thom. In the dedication to memory of king Yayavarman VII’s father. Continue your excursion to a Buddhist hospital Neak Pean, the famous temple located in the middle of the pool consisting of a reclining Buddha. More over, this ruin was the Buddhist hospital offering medical treatment to locals who were missing four elements: water, fire, wind and earth. The patients were treated via the water ablution by sitting right below each water spoute in the room connect on side pool.

City tour or spend the afternoon exploring Siem Reap’s colorful markets. Visit Artisans d’Angkor, established in 1992, in order to support Cambodian arts and crafts and to help young people find work in their local villages. Discover how wood and stone carvings, lacquering, gilding and silk paintings are created. We’ll visit a number of artists’ studios including those of expat and Cambodian artists who are keeping traditional arts and crafts alive (such as painting, lacquer ware and fine sculptures) in the country. Or visit Killing Field Wat Thmey. The The large monastery half way out between the center of town and Angkor Wat - and is notable for being at the center of an area that served as the killing fields during the Pol Pot years.

Wat Thmey features a live in monastery and new temple, as well as grounds in the middle of which is a large stupa, glass sided, with the skulls and bones diligently gathered by local residents in memory of friends and family and villagers who died. Duration(30mn)

Or War Museum- Siem Reap. The War Museum in Siem Reap, the only one in Cambodia offers visitors a unique and insightful view of the perils that Cambodia faced during the last 3 decades of the 20th century. It gives also visitors a great opportunity to learn more about what actually occurred during Cambodia’s ‘war years’.  It has a unique collection, you will also be able to see war machines like the tank T-54, the jet fighter aircraft MiG-19, the helicopter Mil Mi-8 and the field artillery gun 85-mm divisional gun D-44 used in Cambodia, some of these war machines have even seen action during World War II. Among the collection there are also many sorts of landmines and rare photographs from the defined period of time in Cambodia. Duration (1h).
